What ya hearin What you sayin people? Finally back after a bit of bandwidth over drive last month which I have to say thanks to you all for the beautiful disaster! I was asked a few months ago to do an interview by the lads at Our House Mag for their 13th issue. Soon after answering the questions I had to furnish the interrogation with a visual manufactured article to tie it all together. After a few hours of mocking myself and the recent .Dotbleep artwork something was still absent from the equation the visual was there but where was the audible side to the tale? Welcome back to another episode of the .dotbleep podcast show! After 8 years of audio experiments @ the main Smartbar lab in Chicago we released a mix tape in celebration that was handed out to the first 100 people at the door on the night of the event & they went like hot cakes! After many emails & facebook messages I have decided to put this mix public to the ears of all those that have been part of the support system of helping my house music monster grow! In this episode we find the A side of the mix tape which includes a bit of old a bit of new & some rare oddities as well. This was a fun project for me as it has been a long time since I had to do 2 short mixes of 30 minutes to keep an a and b side in mind since we have been set to the mind set of making mix cds for the past good amount of years. I hope you enjoy the mixing and selections as always this mix was done 100% live with NO computer programs or robots helping me along the way! stay tuned for when the b sides strike again! Hey beat freak posse whats going down? Back once again with another dose of audio for your mind & ears... I was recently invited by Danny Rampling to do a mix for his Push FM radio show after playing a gig with him @ Uber in Carlisle... I wanted this mix to be a 60 minute audio photograph of myself in my current musical state. I did this mix in one take and it aired on Saturday May 2nd. I hope you all enjoy the beats and i will be back very soon with another adventure from the Wasted Chicago Youth. till the next episode turn those speakers up and fight commercial audio crime! Welcome back again for another tale from the archives of the .dotbleep library of sound. Todays feature is a segment that took place deep in the labs of the smartbar basement a few months ago. In this chapter we will find the Wasted Chicago Youth ( Mazi of A.S.P. & myself ) in control of a subterranean vessel that consisted of 2 mixes and 4 turntables.. we were on a mission into the deep with no prior instruction we suited up downed a few shots and were on our way to launch into the unknown! In this recording you will find 2 anti-heros telling their story with use of no gimmicks and no extra tools! Wasted Chicago Youth will continue further exploration @ Fabric London on May 9th come join us on our journey through sound!

Here in this episode I have finally tracked down my set from the beatport stage @ demf also known as the movement festival that takes place in Detroit every year. I have picked out an hour of the close to 2 hour set to post for this episode. this party was a highlight gig of last year for me and is one that i will remember for many years to come. the crowd was amazing the sound was raging and to be out in the open air with the sun and the lake not too far just made for the perfect audio canvas to paint with loud and tweaky sounds. so sit back and plug your mind in and enjoy the trip! thank you once again for your continued support and i will see you guys on the b-side! peazy!

Classic Bad Boy Bill WBMX mix 09.03.88

Hey beat freak soldiers of the new world order.... were back again with another episode on the .dotbleep podcast... this weekend I was spending some downtime and looking around my archives and I came across a classic recording of Bad Boy Bill from his WBMX days recorded on September 3rd 1988 - Bad Boy Bill was one of the 1st Djs that had caught my young ears as I first opened the door to the house that Jack built. I have edited out the 1st half hour of this mix as it was not quite the sounds that I felt really influenced me so...here is 30 minutes of raw chicago acid house - real jack tracks and detroit techno put together in a way only Bill was able to do in 88 - these are all songs that have shaped my life and the way I see music... I hope you enjoy this transmission as much as I have been for all these years. There will be a new mix from me very soon! Peazy!
